Operations

The Operations page lists every operation run on GoChain — in GoFabric, GoBesu and GoInfra — with its steps, status history and error messages. Records are kept after the operation ends, so you can see who did what, when, and how it turned out.

Opening the Operations Page

You can reach the page from:

  • The Operations item in the GoFabric, GoBesu and GoInfra sidebars.
  • The operations menu in the navigation bar, which shows the operations Running now and the Recent ones, with a View all operations link.

The page is available even before you have an organization.

Choosing a Scope

Pick whose operations to see:

Scope Shows
My operations Operations you started, in every service and organization
Account Every organization you are a member of, plus your GoInfra operations
Organization One GoFabric or GoBesu organization
Business group One GoFabric or GoBesu business group

Counters at the top show the operations running now and how many failed, were interrupted or succeeded in the selected time window.

Filtering

  • Search by operation ID, title or resource.
  • Status: Pending, Running, Succeeded, Failed, Rolled back, Interrupted or Cancelled.
  • Type: for example creating an organization, deploying a chaincode, resizing storage or creating a firewall.
  • Service: GoFabric, GoBesu or GoInfra.
  • Time window: last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

New operations appear without reloading the page. Click Load more to see older ones.

Reading an Operation

The table shows each operation's status, title, scope, who initiated it, when it started and how long it took. Click an operation to open its details:

  • Service, Type, Scope and Target — what the operation acted on.
  • Initiated by and Via — who started it and how: Web console, API · access key, Approved proposal or System. For operations that come from a proposal, Proposed by and the approvers are shown too.
  • Started, Finished and Duration.
  • Steps — each step with its status (Pending, Running, Completed, Failed or Skipped). A failed operation shows the step it failed at and its error message, and whether its changes were rolled back.
  • Status history — every status change with its time.

Use Copy operation ID, Copy link or Copy as JSON to share an operation, for example with support.

ℹ️ Note: An operation that was running when the platform restarted is marked Interrupted.
